NOIDA HTMS PROJECT - 2014

Introduction

Noida Authority intended to implement Highway Traffic Management System (HTMS) on Noida – Greater Noida Expressway which connects Mahamaya Flyover in Noida to Pari Chowk in Greater Noida over a distance of 25KM Approx. 

The Noida Authority HTMS Project provided state-of-art road infrastructure with speed violation, incident detection, variable message sign & weather monitoring system etc. out of these, variable message sign (VMS) at 13 locations & weather monitoring system at 2 locations where supplied 7 installed by Envoys for the Prime Contractor. 
The variable message signs installed on Noida – Greater Noida Expressway provides relevant information to the road users about the road situation & weather conditions for hassle free journey and safer journey on this expressway. 
Noida HTMS Project was adjudged as the best ITC Project with special award from MoUD at UMI 2015.

Major Milestone

• 01st September 2014– Work Order for Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Variable Message signs from Prime Contractor
• 27th June 2015 - Completion of SITC of Variable Message signs.
