Chenani Nashari Tunnel in J&K -2016

Introduction

Chennai Nushri is India’s longest Road Tunnel with the length of 9.29 KM and country’s first tunnel with the fully integrated tunnel control system. Chennai Nushri tunnel helped to reduce the distance between Jammu & Srinagar by 30 KM and travel time by 2 Hours. This all – weather tunnel bypasses snow fall and avalanche prone areas in winters at various places along NH 44. 

Envoys was privileged to supply various tunnel display equipment like Traffic Lights Three Coloured (TLTC), Dynamic Road Information Panel (DRIP), Speed Limit Variable Message Sign (SLVS), Entrance Variable Message Sign (EVS)&Tunnel Variable Lane Signal (TLS) etc. to the Prime Contractor of this prestigious project.
